Michael Wilson, a 32-year-old man from McKees Rocks, was fatally shot on May 3, 2014, in Pittsburgh's Northview Heights neighborhood. The incident occurred during a large gathering called "Chaz Day," an annual memorial event held to remember a young man who was slain in January 2012. As the event was ending, someone opened fire, and Wilson was shot in the chest. He was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries overnight.
