Eugene Thomas David III, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 30, 2014, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Eugene was fatally shot in the 300 block of Penfort Street in the Northview Heights neighborhood. According to police reports, Eugene was found lying in the street and pronounced dead at the scene. A confrontation between two groups led to shots being fired, and it appears there was more than one shooter involved. A 41-year-old man was also injured in the shooting
