John Russ, a 43-year-old man from New Kensington, PA, was tragically shot and killed on August 20, 2014. He was found inside a parked vehicle on Fourth Avenue, while his girlfriend, Shannon Bongartz, 28, was found dead nearby. The incident occurred around 8:25 a.m., and it was reported that gunshots were heard in the area.
