Michelle Shafer Volciak, a 51-year-old woman from Hazleton, PA, tragically died on August 31, 2014. She was found dead in her home alongside her husband, Wayne Volciak, who was 55 years old. The couple was discovered with gunshot wounds, and their deaths were initially investigated as a possible murder-suicide. Michelle was known in the community for her cake and cupcake bakery, Michelle's Creative Cakes.
The investigation revealed that Wayne had shot Michelle before taking his own life.
