On September 25, 2014, Brett Simmons, a 23-year-old male from Clay Township, Pennsylvania, was tragically killed during a home invasion. The incident occurred at around 11:00 PM when two masked men broke into the Simmons family home on Clearview Road in Ephrata, PA. Brett's father, James Simmons, was also shot during the invasion but survived. The suspects were described as young adult males, both around 5'9" with average to medium builds. One had blonde hair and dark eyes.
