Leonard Butler Jr., a 44-year-old African American man from Pittsburgh, PA, was tragically killed on October 14, 2014. The incident occurred in the Elliott neighborhood of Pittsburgh, where Butler was found shot to death in the basement of his home. The circumstances surrounding his death were particularly violent and disturbing. Butler was attacked by two men who broke into his home, beat him, and used a stun gun on him before ultimately shooting him.
