Edward Taylor, a 54-year-old man from Chester, PA, was tragically shot and killed on September 1, 2015. He was shot as he was getting into his vehicle in the early morning hours, and later died at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Lloyd Street, not far from Taylor's home. More than 20 shell casings were recovered from the scene.

son, Edward Taylor Jr., who was gunned down in 2013. In the younger Taylor's case, Jamir Deshawn Edmonds was convicted of first-degree murder and is serving a life sentence. Edmonds maintained his innocence throughout the legal process, and the prosecutor argued that the shooting was a contract killing.
Despite the similarities, investigators have not identified any suspects or a definite motive in Edward Taylor's death. They have a working theory but have declined to elaborate on it.
