Andre Lamont Parker, a 19-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on January 4, 2016, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Parker was a resident of Lower Paxton Township and a student at Harrisburg Area Community College, where he was majoring in Criminal Justice. His untimely death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of the morning on Burchfield Street.
The investigation into Parker's death revealed that he and a 25-year-old male were lured to the scene under false pretenses for the purpose of robbery. Upon arrival, Parker was shot multiple times, while the 25-year-old was grazed by a bullet and later released after receiving medical treatment. The suspects involved in the shooting were identified as three 18-year-old individuals: Ayanna Perryman, Na'shae Thompson, and Eiane McCollum. All three were charged with criminal homicide, robbery, and criminal conspiracy for robbery.
In addition to the three primary suspects, a fourth individual, 17-year-old Nasheem Greenslade, was also implicated in the crime. Greenslade was charged with first-degree murder, robbery, and other related charges. Furthermore, five individuals were arrested for allegedly helping to hide Greenslade after the murder, facing charges of hindering apprehension.
