On June 12, 2016, in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, a tragic incident occurred that resulted in the death of 9-year-old Codie Powell. Codie, a young girl of African American ethnicity, was found dead in her home along with her father, Donald Powell Jr., who was 36 years old. The incident was determined to be a murder-suicide.
