Among the victims was Jo Anne Koder Hill, a 57-year-old female from Lansdale, who lost her life in a brutal killing spree perpetrated by her former son-in-law. The day's horror began before dawn, setting off a massive manhunt for the armed and dangerous suspect.
The perpetrator was identified by law enforcement as 35-year-old Bradley William Stone, a former Marine reservist. Fueled by a bitter and ongoing custody dispute with his ex-wife, Nicole Hill, Stone embarked on a deadly rampage targeting her and her family members at multiple locations. Before the sun rose, Stone had forced his way into three separate homes in Lansdale, Souderton, and Lower Salford Township, leaving a trail of devastation in his wake.
In Lansdale, Stone attacked his former mother-in-law, Jo Anne Koder Hill, and her mother, Patricia Hill. Both women were tragically killed. The violence did not end there.
