On June 26, 2016, Brandon Turowski, a 27-year-old man from Oakmont, Pennsylvania, was tragically shot and killed during a home invasion. The incident occurred at around 4:15 a.m. when two men broke into Turowski's home on View Street. During the confrontation, Turowski was shot in the leg or thigh and was later pronounced dead at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville at 5:24 a.m.

Homicide detectives from the Allegheny County police department launched an investigation into the incident. ...
