Michael Williams Shields, a 28-year-old man from Amity Township, PA, was fatally shot on August 6, 2016. Shields was killed outside his home while trying to help a friend who was being attacked by a gunman attempting to steal a motorcycle. The suspect, described as a black male in his early 30s with light facial hair, fled the scene on foot and possibly in a white van.
