The incident occurred in a vehicle near Hartzell Trailer Court along Lake Lucy Road in Washington Township, Clarion County. Ditz was later charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and other related charges.
Ditz was taken into custody and arraigned on the charges, and he faced a trial that concluded with a guilty verdict for third-degree murder. He was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison. The case highlighted issues of domestic violence and the serious consequences of such actions.
