Jose Angel Aponte, a 19-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on October 30, 2017, in York, Pennsylvania. He was walking home from work when he was shot multiple times in the 300 block of East Market Street. Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene around 11:35 p.m. and found Aponte suffering from cardiac arrest. Despite their efforts to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
