On December 22, 2012, 18-year-old Miguel Alvarez was shot and killed in Long Beach, California. He was one of two victims in a shooting incident, and despite being rushed to the hospital, Alvarez succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not fully clear, and law enforcement has continued to investigate the case.
