Kaidena Wood Missing Person Case

Kaidena "Kay" Wood, aged 72, went missing on July 30, 2011, from her rural Norwalk, Iowa, home, which she shared with her husband, James "Bill" Wood, aged 79. That evening, their house was destroyed by a fire that investigators later determined was arson. Bill’s body was discovered in the charred remains the next day, and an autopsy revealed that he had been shot multiple times, ruling his death a homicide. Witnesses reported seeing a man parking the truck and walking away. Authorities released a sketch of this unidentified individual, who is considered a person of interest. The man was described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6'2" to 6'6" tall, with gray or white crew-cut hair.

Investigators have long suspected foul play in Kaidena's disappearance, believing it may be related to a potential robbery targeting the Woods, who were known to keep valuable antiques. Despite extensive efforts, Kaidena remains missing, and no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
