On August 6, 2018, 57-year-old Lanny Hutson was tragically shot multiple times by his grandson, 22-year-old Jhalil Brown, in their McKeesport, PA home. Police were called to the scene just before 6:30 a.m. and found Brown standing on the porch, admitting to the shooting. Hutson was found in the living room with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, head, and arms. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
