In the late morning of August 27, 2018, the city of Chester was marked by another act of violence that claimed the life of 31-year-old Everrett Wilson, a Black / African American male. Responding to calls of a shooting shortly after 11 a.m., police arrived at the 900 block of Yarnall Street to a grim scene.
