Lamar Seymour, a 17-year-old male from Aliquippa, PA, was charged with the homicide of 15-year-old Dahvea Sparrow. Seymour allegedly shot Sparrow in the head at close range with a 40-caliber handgun. Seymour turned himself into authorities and was charged as an adult.
In a separate incident in Ambridge, PA, 18-year-old Nasean Hunt was arrested and
charged with the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Asaun Moreland on July 14, 2023. The police are still searching for a second shooter involved in Moreland's death. There is speculation about a possible connection between the two shootings, but no evidence has been found to support this theory.
