On the evening of New Year's Day in 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, claiming the life of 26-year-old Laquan Clark. A Black male known affectionately to friends and family as 'Popcorn,' Clark was a passenger in a vehicle that had stopped in the 200 block of North 14th Street at around 6:10 p.m. It was then that a second vehicle pulled up behind them, and multiple shots were fired into the car Clark occupied.
