Michael Thornton, a 34-year-old male from Harrisburg, PA, tragically lost his life on July 20, 2020, due to a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of South 16th and Hunter streets in Harrisburg. Thornton was pronounced dead at the scene, and another male was injured but expected to recover. The shooting was described as a targeted incident, and the gunman remained at large.
