Johnathan Williams, a 25-year-old Hispanic / Latino male from Allentown, Pennsylvania, was shot on January 4, 2019, in the 600 block of West Liberty Street. He was found critically wounded on a sidewalk and rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he died hours later. The Lehigh County coroner ruled his death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the body, making his killing one of the first major acts of violence to shake Allentown that year.
