Shaquille Mack, a 25-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on March 22, 2019, in Philadelphia, PA. He was fatally shot during a road rage incident that occurred around 9:14 a.m. on that day. Shaquille was a passenger in a GMC Terrain when a newer model, dark blue Chrysler 300 almost collided with his vehicle. Both vehicles stopped parallel to each other, and an argument ensued. Shaquille exited his vehicle and approached the Chrysler, where an individual inside the car shot him once.
The suspect, described as a Black male in his late twenties or early thirties with a locked hairstyle or braided hair, wearing dark clothing, then fled the scene in the Chrysler.
Shaquille was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, but despite medical efforts, he did not survive. The incident took place in front of his children, who were also in the vehicle at the time. The suspect's car was last seen speeding south on 52nd Street. The Philadelphia Police Department has been actively investigating the case and has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
As of now, the case remains unsolved, and authorities continue to seek information about the suspect and the vehicle involved. The City of Philadelphia has urged anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
