Taylor was on his way to work on the morning of Thursday, October 17th, when he was fatally shot. His body was discovered on a sidewalk in the 12000 block of Duchess Street, near the intersection of Kelly Road and Morang Drive.
The circumstances surrounding the death of the young man, who had attended Denby High School and was in the process of preparing for his GED, remained shrouded in mystery. In the immediate aftermath, law enforcement officials released few details about the investigation and had not identified any potential suspects. The lack of answers left a painful void for his loved ones, who remembered him as a caring individual who dedicated his personal time to looking after his younger brother and his elderly grandmother, both of whom had health complications.
In an effort to bring his killer to justice, Taylor's family made a heartfelt plea to the public for any information that might lead to a breakthrough in the case.
