In the late summer of 2019, the city of Chester, Pennsylvania, was once again confronted with the tragedy of gun violence. On September 18th, Nathan Davis, a 26-year-old Black man, was fatally shot. Known to his friends and family as 'Nate' or 'Lil Nate,' he was remembered as an outgoing, loyal, and funny individual who had attended Chester High School and was a father.
