LeVar Green, a 17-year-old male from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically lost his life on April 15, 2021. He was one of two juveniles shot in Pittsburgh's Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood that evening. Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 8:10 p.m. and found Green unresponsive at the scene. He was later pronounced dead, while the other juvenile was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
