Death by Force

Darnell Wofford, a 31-year-old man from McKees Rocks, was tragically shot and killed on May 16, 2021, in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood. The incident occurred outside the Black Pearl Bar near North Dallas Avenue. Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for 11 rounds fired around 3:45 a.m. When they arrived, they found Wofford with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene. A second man, who was shot in the hand, was taken to a local hospital by a private vehicle.
