On December 27, 2010, the life of 41-year-old Edward Monyan came to a violent end in Detroit, Michigan. He was found at a commercial location on the city’s west side, specifically at 2600 West Davison Street, which business records identify as the site of a fuel mart and oil service station. His death was ruled a homicide, marking him as the 305th criminal death recorded in the city that year, a period during which Detroit struggled with a high volume of violent crimes.
