On December 12, 2021, Jose Salgado, a 30-year-old man from Allentown, PA, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the 800 block of North Elliger Street. Salgado was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, later that evening. The Lehigh County Coroner's Office ruled both deaths as homicides.
