Dawud Abdul Saleem Bey, a 29-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost his life on December 17, 2021. He was fatally shot multiple times throughout his body and was found in the 1700 block of Point Breeze Avenue. He was taken to Methodist Hospital in a private vehicle, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. A second victim, a 39-year-old Black male, was also shot twice in his back and taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
