On May 28, 2023, 21-year-old Philadelphia resident and Temple University alumnus, Jude Chacko, was fatally shot in the city's Port Richmond neighborhood. He was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head on the 2700 block of East Cumberland Street and was pronounced dead at Temple University Hospital.
