In the normally quiet neighborhood of Brookline, a volley of gunfire on the night of March 29, 2022, brought a violent end to the life of Devonte White, a 29-year-old male from Wilkinsburg. Just before 10 p.m., concerned residents flooded 911 with calls reporting multiple shots fired in the 1100 block of Chelton Avenue.
