Death by Force

Giovanni Canales, a 27-year-old man from Philadelphia, PA, was tragically shot and killed on May 17, 2022. Giovanni was inside a dark grey Nissan Rogue on the 1600 block of Margaret Street in the East Frankford section of Philadelphia when he was shot multiple times. Responding officers found him lying in the street near the vehicle and transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that afternoon.
