Malik A. Bell Jr., a 17-year-old Black male, was tragically murdered on June 17, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA. At approximately 12:42 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call at the 2500 block of South 61st Street, where they found Malik lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Penn Presbyterian Hospital, Malik succumbed to his injuries that morning.
