Reverend Horace Rickerson, a 57-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on February 1, 1982, at Cleveland State University. Rickerson was shot seven times by Frank Spisak, a Nazi sympathizer, in a restroom on the university campus. Spisak's motive was rooted in his racist and anti-Semitic beliefs, as he embarked on a shooting spree targeting individuals he deemed undesirable.
