Another individual, Walter Baker Jr., was also implicated in the shooting. Baker Jr. allegedly got into a fight inside the bar and was kicked out along with Johnson. Baker Jr. was arrested nearly seven years later and faced a complicity to murder charge. He pleaded not guilty and was held without bond.
