Man is murdered at gas station
On September 9, 2004, 30-year-old Anduan Smith was shot and killed in Springfield, Ohio. The incident occurred late at night at around 11:50 p.m. while Anduan was standing outside the Citgo gas station located at 502 South Yellow Springs Street. Several people were present in the parking lot at the time, but few have come forward with details regarding the crime. According to witness reports, a black male, potentially emerging from a teal or aqua-colored SUV, approached Anduan and fired several shots, striking him in the chest. Despite efforts to save his life, Anduan succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital.
The investigation into Anduan's death remains unresolved, and law enforcement continues to urge those who may have witnessed the incident or have any relevant information to come forward. It is believed that multiple people may have seen what happened but have not provided their accounts, which has made solving the case challenging.
