Chris E. Dearmond Sr., a 43-year-old African American man from Springfield, Ohio, was tragically shot to death on March 17, 2012. He was a barber at New Flavor Barber Shop, located at 1833 South Yellow Springs Street. On the day of his death, Dearmond was reportedly alone in the shop when he was shot multiple times, including once in the head. He was quickly flown to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, but unfortunately, he did not survive the attack.

The incident remains under investigation ...
