Davion Strupe, a 24-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Lorain, OH, tragically passed away on July 1, 2014. Strupe was shot while attempting to flee a large altercation involving over 30 individuals on Garden Street in Elyria. He was found by police in a severely injured state and was later pronounced dead at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center.
