Mitchell Pruitt, a 50-year-old man from Warren, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed in his home on August 5, 2014. The Trumbull County coroner ruled his death a homicide due to multiple gunshot wounds. Police were called to Pruitt's residence early in the morning by his girlfriend, who heard gunshots and found him unresponsive in the kitchen. Despite an extensive search, no other individuals were found inside the home.
