Kenneth Bittinger, an 83-year-old man, was found dead alongside Helen Dobransky, 97, in their Osnaburg Township farmhouse on November 12, 2014. Both victims were discovered by Stark County sheriff's deputies after a couple who came to visit them had knocked on the door and found no response. Upon entering the home, deputies found Bittinger lying on the floor in one room and Dobransky in another, both having been shot multiple times.
