Marc Lanier, a 49-year-old man from Warrensville Heights, Ohio, was tragically found dead on January 27, 2015. He was discovered in the doorway of his home on Wickfield Avenue, having succumbed to gunshot wounds. The police were called to the scene around 12:25 a.m. after reports of gunshots, and Lanier was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office were involved in the investigation.
