Christian Maria "Chrissie" Njoroge, a 34-year-old woman of African descent, tragically lost her life on July 29, 2015, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was fatally shot by her boyfriend, Christopher Scruggs, who then took his own life. At the time of her death, Chrissie was six months pregnant, and doctors were able to deliver her baby girl, who survived the ordeal.
