Douglas Yon, a 25-year-old male, died on December 17, 2015, in Kent, Ohio. He was shot and killed by Kent police officers who responded to a call about a domestic dispute. According to reports, Yon's cousin called 911 to report that Yon, who didn't live at the house, refused to leave and planned to attack any officers with a machete. When the police arrived, Yon allegedly ran at them with the machete, prompting the officers to use lethal force.
