Rouven Loch, a 22-year-old man from Fairborn, Ohio, died on February 22, 2016, following a standoff with police. Loch was suspected of committing a series of robberies and was located at a residence on Eastview Drive. After an hour-long attempt to negotiate his surrender, tear gas was deployed, and Loch exited the residence with a pellet gun pointed at officers. He was shot by police and later pronounced dead at Miami Valley Hospital.
