James Mixon, a 30-year-old male from Cincinnati, OH, was shot to death on March 9, 2016, in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. The incident was initially reported as a possible self-defense shooting. An unidentified individual claimed to have shot Mixon in self-defense during an attempted robbery. The Hamilton County Coroner ruled Mixon's death as a homicide.
