Robert L. Hildebrand, a 47-year-old man from Dayton, Ohio, tragically passed away on June 13, 2016. He was employed as a caretaker at Lakewoods Apartments and was well-liked by many. Hildebrand was born on October 24, 1968, and was known for his dedication to his work and his friendly nature.

The circumstances surrounding his death were quite distressing. Hildebrand was shot by Jason Shontee, a 52-year-old homeless man, in the 300 block of North Smithville Road in Dayton. According to rep ...
