Chendo Lamont "BJ" Buford Jr., a 26-year-old African American male from Dayton, Ohio, tragically passed away on March 2, 2020. Buford was fatally shot at the Eagle Ridge apartment complex in Dayton, and multiple eyewitnesses identified Karlton Stephone Jones, 25, as the shooter. Jones was subsequently indicted on charges of murder and felonious assault. He remains in Montgomery County Jail on a $1 million bond, awaiting trial.
