Cecil Raymond Johnson, a 26-year-old Black male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on July 30, 2016. On that fateful night, around 2:31 a.m., Columbus Police Officers responded to a call about a male who had been shot at 4544 Lakeside South. Upon arrival, they found Cecil lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention and emergency surgery at Grant Medical Center, Cecil succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 3:53 a.m.
