Jacob Valdiviezo, aged 19, was tragically shot and killed on March 30, 2013, in San Francisco's Mission District. Valdiviezo, who was home from college on spring break, was walking near his home on Bryant Street, close to 24th Street, when he was approached by a gunman. According to reports, the assailant got out of a grey four-door sedan, confronted Valdiviezo, and fired multiple shots, killing him on the spot.
